Here at The Calm Companion, we strive for excellence and pride ourselves on being a part of our local community! We are part of several local events to encourage the community to get out, be active, and take care of their dogs.
Athens Social Pack Walk

Athens Social Pack Walk is a community group dedicated to socializing dogs, and improving handler control. Created and supervised by a professional dog trainer, community members are invited to attend after reading our Rules of Engagement. Members will be walking their dog, using appropriate tools, within the pack. The hour-long walk will include walking in pairs, confidence building activities, and basic obedience.
Donations made by the participants are appreciated, and they will be donated to a local animal organization.
These group walks take place every Saturday and Sunday unless otherwise announced in the Facebook group.

Read With Dogs

Book and Dog lovers are invited to take turns reading aloud while snuggling with a canine reading buddy! Bring a book of your own, read one from our shelves, or just spend time with Henry and Lola from The Calm Companion.
